Makeup Looks for the Wedding Season

Hello ladies! Wedding season is here and I’m sure you all have a ton of shaadis to attend. And although you may have already shopped for your outfits, shoes and jewellery, I’m sure you’re still confused about your makeup.

So, here are a few looks you could try this wedding season to look your best!

1. The Chiseled Face

conotur-1

Face: This look involves a lot of contour and highlight techniques to minimise your problem areas and accentuate your favourite features. As you already know, contouring and highlighting go hand in hand. So, you need to both contour as well as highlight your face to achieve a sculpted look.

Eyes: Avoid any eye makeup, except for long, voluminous lashes using a good black mascara and well defined eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil.

Lips: For this look, I suggest you use a pale pink or peach lip colour.

2. The Doll Eyes

eye-2 eye-1

Face: This look emphasises on your eyes, so it’s best to keep the face makeup to a minimum. Use a tinted moisturiser or a medium coverage foundation for a natural makeup look.

Eyes: Because we focus on eye makeup for this look, use a nice shade of brown eyeshadow or if you want to try a bit of glitter, use a dull gold eyeshadow with subtle glitter. Define your eye brows using an eye brow pencil. Use black kohl pencil on your lower lash line and create a thick line, which could be smudged for a smokey look. Use a liquid or gel liner on the upper lash line and create a winged liner or any other style which looks good on your eye shape. Finish with a lengthening and volumising mascara. If you want a more dramatic look, you can also try using false lashes.

Lips: A nude lipstick or lip gloss will complement the heavy eye makeup.

3. The Bold Lip

lip-1

Face: For this look, you can use a dewy foundation for a glowing face. A pale pink or a pale peach blush will add freshness to your face.

Eyes: I’d suggest you stick to defined eyebrows and thick lashes. Avoid any other eye makeup.

Lips: For a bold lip, outline your lips with a lip pencil in a shade similar to the lipstick you want to apply and use a lip brush to apply lipstick, so that it stays in place. Because the emphasis is on the lips, you should either go for a bright red, a fuchsia pink or maybe a deep wine shade.

How did you like these 3 makeup looks? Looking forward to your feedback and suggestions for other makeup looks to try!
