Types of shoes you must own

Hello lovelies! I’ve tried putting together a list of shoes you must own, so that you’re sorted for every occasion. Deciding which shoes to buy when there are zillions of styles available is quite a task. Take a look at my list of must-have shoes.

1. The Ballerina

This is the most comfortable, go-to shoe for those days of non-stop walking and going about.  There are so many colours and styles to choose from. These are the pretty and practical kinda shoes.

2. The Ankle Boots

These are ankle length, not necessarily wintery boots.  They can make a normal jeans and tee outfit look more put together and stylish. You can flaunt these boots, irrespective of the weather. I’d suggest you buy these in a neutral colour like a tan or a grey, so that you can wear them with most of your outfits.

3. Pumps

My favourite shoe is the pump. You must own a pair of nude or black pumps just because they’re perfect for so many occasions. Dinner date, brunch with friends, office seminar or family outings, pumps are the perfect choice for any occasion and complement any outfit.

4. Wedges

Wedges are great for a casual look. They look as good with jeans as with a summery dress. Wedges are a must-have for girls who hate wearing stilettos but still want to look taller, minus the pain of walking in sky high heels.

5. Strappy sandals

Strappy sandals are comfortable and on trend too. Pair them with a casual outfit and you’re ready for a day at the beach or an afternoon at the movies. They’re good to wear on holidays too, both fuss-free and stylish at the same time.

6. Trainers

Don’t think of them as your boring gym shoes. Buy a pair in a calming sea green or a happy orange. You can wear your trainers to the gym and to your daily jog obviously, but also to the park and for strolls in the neighbourhood.

That was my list of must-have shoe styles. Would love to hear what you think! Which ones are your favourite? Did I miss out on any?

  1. This is a fantastic collection… Definitely ‘the must haves’… But you missed out on flip flops !!! Those are my random go-to when I want to keep it absolutely simple and casual 🙂
Keep up the great work ❤

  2. Stroppy Sandals missing from my wardrobe, gotta get those 🙂
And one should have pumps in both black and nude, they would work with almost every color.
