Coconut oil

This is a well known secret that has been handed down to us from grandma’s beauty book. Cold pressed virgin coconut oil is filled with moisturising and nourishing properties and is great for dry skin, a flaky scalp or damaged hair. So ladies, I’d suggest you get back to your childhood ritual of oiling your tresses with this magic potion every weekend. Coconut oil has been used as a body moisturizer, since long. It also soothes dry hands and cuticles, prevents foot infections and gives you cleaner and softer feet. It can be used as a gentle makeup remover to remove even the most stubborn waterproof makeup. As a hair oil, it provides hydration to dry and brittle hair and helps tame frizzy hair.

Almond oil

Almond oil is a great multipurpose oil with nourishing properties. It can be used as a body massage oil as it is great for deep cleansing of the skin. It also helps in preventing pre mature ageing and treats skin rashes. If applied on the face, it helps in reducing dark circles and also treats chapped lips. As a hair oil, almond oil is known to reduce hair fall and get rid of split ends. It can also be used as a nail nourishment oil for strong and beautiful nails.

Olive oil

Although it’s widely used as a cooking oil, olive oil has been used as a hair and body oil since forever due to its nourishing properties. Olive oil moisturises and soothes dry and irritated skin and is a great treatment for cracked heels. It also softens the cuticles and helps your nails grow stronger. Olive oil works wonders as a hair shine serum and a hair mask for soft, luscious hair.
